I have been teaching for 7years but have been in a variety of settings... too many to list seperately w/in the resume. i have always moved positions for positive reasons and have many other profession skills and services, however when it's in black and white it sort of looks like that saying: "jack of all trades - master of none"

* district 1 / school 1 - special ed teacher - 4th grade (1 yr)
* district 2 / school 1 - special ed teacher - 4th & 5th (1 yr)
* district 2 / school 2 - spec. ed. - 3rd (3 yr)
* disstrict 2 / school 2 - reg. ed. - 2nd (1 yr)
* district 2 / school 2 - reg. ed. 1st (current)

HELP!! ;-)

I would list the last four schools that you were at, under professional teaching. Then the later two years, list under related experiences, ( only if you are seeking a reg. ed. classroom.) I don't think that it looks that bad, b/c there are three years in special ed. Do you have letters of recommendations from all of those schools? That would really help you out! Plus, to show that you have experience in many different grade levels makes you more marketable. Just be prepared to answer ?'s about why you left those schools, and what would make you stay at the district in which you are applying. Also, make sure that you keep your resume at two pages. Good Luck!

I have been teaching for 7 years in a variety of settings. List them separately w/in the resume. I moved positions to develop my skills in all areas.
They need you more than you need them, make it look like what you want it to look like and never decide what an interviewer believes or they will.
