DON"T Say you are sorry if you didn't do it...just ask the person why they think you did it? Why would you cause this problem ? Have them think about it....also ask them if you can talk about it....maybe you did do something that hurt that person and don't Even know it...people get hurt over things that would NEVER hurt us...that is why there is conflict....Different prospectives!!

If you apologize then you are admitting guilt. It depends how important this is to you. If it will cause someone to completely lose trust in you then don't do it. If you didn't do it then they can't prove you did. If it's not a big deal and it would help to just move on from this then go ahead. But I would just turn it around and get mad at them for not trusting you.

UI always approach something like this with the attitude of sincerely ffeling badly that some miscommunication has caused hurt feelings. ie. I am sorry that you feel hurt because you think I didn't like your dress. Actually I thought it was cute. OR I am sorry you are suffering because someone told you I was sleeping with your boyfriend, It is not true but I care how you feel... This usually work, but BE HONEST. This does not work with lies.

Just give it your best shot. Sometimes that's all that you can do, if the person believes you or not, is up to them.
But, if you're in a relationship and you're accused of something, then by your own actions, will tell if you are telling the truth or not.
Just be up front and honest. Be true to yourself. If he/she/they don't believe you, then you don't have a relationship. It may work itself out and it may not. But, learn from it.

Why would you ever say you are sorry for something you DID NOT DO?
Someone is putting you in a corner.....If they love and trust you, there is no way they should want you to say "sorry", especially if you explained to them you did not do it.
You only live once in this lifetime.........It's your life!!!
"You could say......I am sooooo sorry, that you believe that I did..........., and even more sorry than words can say, that you do not believe me, or in me,when I said I did not do it!"
Quite possibly, they maybe know you did not...but want someone else to
think you did.
My advise, is not to be friends with whoever it is.
Hope this helps......Your life...do not let anyone put words in your mouth.

Depends on what the problem was, In my experience... just be honest and tell it like it is. You made the mistake that way... try fixing it that way.
