When my wife goes to her Christmas party (I can't go...company policy) she drops me off at the mall to shop (one of the 2 or 3 times I go to a mall in a year).
We do potluck for Christmas dinner, everyone brings something.
I also grill the turkey (a la "beer can chicken") except I use something a little larger like a Chunky Soup can and it takes 2-4 hrs to cook instead of 1-1 1/2 for a chicken.
