i'm turning 21 in two months, and i want to plan the biggest most awesome party...i know my boyfriend is taking me to atlantic city and to a few bars, but that's typical 21 year old stuff..any ideas on what else i can do to celebrate?

rent a room where you can throw the party
make it look like a Hollywood premiere or event like the Oscars
get someone or hire someone to video your guests arriving on a red carpet and interviewed as they enter their thought on your big day
everyone has to dress in formal or semi formal attire
you wear a tiara in your hair as you are the star
get a band or DJ to play music so you can dance
set up a buffet and either buy (THEY ARE CHEAP NOW)or rent that fountain you put in the middle of the table
fill it with champagne so they can toast you and a table of elegant hord'oeuvres to munch on
set up up another table with small gift bags for your friends to take home with a little favor stating you name date and the occasion
have someone present you with an small trophy or plaque honoring the achievement of your 21st birthday
and have lots of those disposable cameras available so your guests can take lots of pictures for you to keep as memories of your big day
and it also gives it the effect of photographers flashing away to get pictures of you
Have a wonderful birthday
have fun whatever you decide to do

ooo fun! you could have a hollywood based theme party, and rent out a club or, if your on a budget, ask a friend to if you can host it at their big house. you can have a spare room set up with a video camera in it for all your guests to wish you a happy birthday just like the celebs! you could have celeb/movie trivia games and of course...BOOZE!
