Cell phone makes my radio blip blippa blippp?

Even at night, 4am maybe, I will awaken to this blipping and bleating for a second or two, from my small electric clock radio. Why is this? Can I do anything to prevent the noise?

Sometimes you can get some interference from your mobile affecting either TV, land phone and other electrical equipment . Just keep your phone a little bit further away as previous person stated.

Mine does it as well to my computer, portable DVD player, and sound machine. Just move your phone across the room. Always works for me.
