no, japan is an island country in east asia , located in the pacific ocean. It has volcanoes and forests , mountains. The movie "the sinking of japan" is not real. Japan will only sink if the people uses the ground water there. And with the rocks japan is uild on, there is little to worry. Japan may be destroyed by volcanoes like how pomeii was destroyed ,buried. Or maybe like the ( i don't know if it's true) troy, burned to the ground and thus sink. But i do believe Japan will not sink.

No, the Pacific plate is subducting under Japan. This causes the plate material to expand and erupt through volcanoes. Japan will get bigger, not further out to sea.
