To be honest it is probably the fact that so many people are in their business and won't let them live normal lives, which leads to them having a difficult time to work on their marriages

Frankly, it's an incestuous industry *show-business, that is*
And with everything that goes/ comes with it celebrities are bound to film a love scene sooner or later.
Though there're some that have (relationships) which stood the test of time. I think it boils down to how the celebs themselves want to 'allow' the paparazzi into their lives.
If they chose to remain low profile, none of the above mentioned *reference to your question* would occur.
Ultimately, relationships are just that regardless of whether its celeb or non-celeb based. It just so happens the glare/ pressure on celebs magnifies by a thousand times over say, a normal relationship.

all of the above. how would you feel if a good chunk of the US (and some other countries) knew the details about your relationship? And your spouse was gone, so you had extra time to do whatever with whoever?
You probably wouldn't last long, either.

publicity and jealousy. the paparazzi is all up in their business 24/7. it's gets to the point where i'm sure they turn on each other. and i think also its because sometimes when you have 2 celebrities and one is more famous than the other then the other one gets jealous and starts trouble.
sad really.

Well, I believe that most don't stay together because they don't spend enough time together and if one little thing happens they don't deal with it right a way and it snow balls into a bigger problem, so they get divorced

I think they get married for the wrong reasons. Most celebs are trash, like Britney Spears. Trashy people don't stay together.

I think that it has to do with their large egos. It must be hard to accept that
your mate has a better career, or more talent that you. It does seem like
it is usually the one doing better who gets dumped.

They're way too self-absorbed. They won't do what needs to be done to put the relationship first.
