Out of 7 answers 2 are right. Men and woman have the same rib count. Those of you who think differently are religiously deluded, I guess. Common sense should have informed you differently. For shame, those of you that said yes.

no, men and women have the same amount of ribs. the myth of a woman having ONE more rib than a man comes from the Biblical story of Adam and Eve, when God took a rib from Adam in order to create Eve (Genesis, Chapter 2, Verses 21-22)

No, technically a woman has one rib more than a man. This is where the story of Eve coming from Adam came about.

no a man and a women do have the same number of ribs it is kind of werid if u think about it for awile Isn't it so anybody who said yes u are wrong

It's not 2 more. It's only 1 more rib than males. You can ask your mom and dad how many ribs they have. Your mom should have 1 more than your dad.

medically no. they both have to exact number. i don't know where the hell that myth came from but if you both count the skeletal ribs of a man and woman its the same.
