Hardee's is the same as Carl's Jr. If you can't find a Hardee's, you might find a Carl's.

The parent company is CKE Enterprises, which are the initials of Carl Karcher, the founder of Carl's Jr. hamburgers. They probably bought the company a long time ago and never expanded the name Hardee's. Mostly they are in the Southeast, besides the states you name, louisiana, Florida, Texas that I know of.

In Louisiana the gentleman that owned the region decided that he needed more things that he had money for.So he went belly up and they closed all stores in Louisiana some in Mississippi and a few in Arkansas.

Indiana has them. Some states have converted to a Carl's Jr, which is the same thing.

hardee's is not a popular returant now. other fastfood resturants are coming in and taking over all the small ones.

it used to be everywhere but it sucks. so they all closed.
Many years ago there was Burger Chef and Hardees and they merged.
