When the Pilgrims came to Massachusetts, they had no way to govern themselves. How did they slove this problem ?

They came up with the Mayflower Compact, a covenant thing that helped them rule. It had laws and stuff by which the pilgrims had to abide. For more information, google Mayflower Compact. Hope this helped.

Before they left the Mayflower, all the Pilgrims agreed to follow the rules of the colony. (Mayflower COmpact). This created self government there. It also was an important document that later would influence the Constitution.
