Why is that a liberal can't be moral? Everybody has different sets of morals and beliefs, that doesn't make anyone morally inferior. Conservatives do care about the people and that is why they use churchs to create programs to help the poor. I'm not a liberal or conservative but don't like the political stereotypes people give to liberals and conservatives.

Morality refers to the concept of human ethics which pertains to matters of good and evil —also referred to as "right or wrong", used within three contexts: individual conscience; systems of principles and judgments — sometimes called moral values —shared within a cultural, religious, secular, Humanist, or philosophical community; and codes of behavior or conduct.

Personal morality defines and distinguishes among right and wrong intentions, motivations or actions, as these have been learned, engendered, or otherwise developed within each individual.

So a "moral liberal" is not an oxymoron, it just depends on what your morals are.

Being "Selfless" or Altruistic....
Altruistic Definition: showing unselfish concern for the welfare of others.

Seeing as how many conservatives donate to charity... then no. A "selfless conservative" is not an oxymoron.

I don't care who you are, that's pretty funny.
I'll admit that I, as a moderate conservative, am not selfless. But then, I don't pretend to be.
