I was born in 1947 so i remember those songs. I remember being made to take a nap while my mom would play the records on a record player, and then I remember getting a spanking for messing with the records.

Yes, just barely though. When I was a kid I remember that whole scandal with him and Liz Taylor. Ah the good old days. In some ways things haven't changed that much right. Still lots of scandals.
