A pre-pay phone is stil a cell phone..I got mine at Wal-mart it came with $10.00 free mins. I have a boost moblie, (you can get at wal-mart) With a boost not only can you call but you can also text message your friends and family plus there is the nextel beep on it as well...you can get the cards in sums of $20, $30, and $50. if you can't get a cell phone with a contract then pre-pay is the way to go....
There is a place on your phone where once you get a card you can enter the info on it from your phone or sometimes you have to call the 1 800 # or even do it online...

you'll textual content human beings even though it will be severe priced in case you textual content lots. I used to have a prepaid and it did not artwork so nicely for me because I texted soo a lot. I paid like one hundred$ a month for it (2 $50 prepaid playing cards a month.) in case you imagine you're going to textual content lots i propose you get a plan. I have a plan now and it is lots more cost-effective, I pay $60 funds a month for endless texting AND 2 hundred minutes, so it is hundreds better. Or in case you do not want a plan be keen to pay lots for a prepaid.

It depends where you are. See if you can either check the website of your local telecommunications service or ask them what options are available to you. Or, you can ask at several phone service shops what they know.

When you buy a card to 'top up' your phone credit, you have to scrape the number off of the back of the card and dial in into your phone, you should first read the directions on the card itself as each country slightly differs. Follow the instructions. If still unclear, have someone show you at the store from where you buy your top up card.
