The best way to learn I think is by actually visiting other successful wine boutique shops. Also go online and look at their web sites online. Sounds like a real fun business! I wish you all the luck inthe world.

Your library will have lots of business plan books available free for you to check out. Also, consider business plan software (check ebay) and save the receipt for a tax deduction. You just fill in the templates but make sure you research your business honestly. We would all love to write down million dollar figures in our forecasting but dreaming won't make you rich... planning ahead and working hard will.

Your City might have a "small business development department" of some sorts they're a good source of information regarding business plans and such. Also check your local SBA office, and your college or university.
