Did you hear about the German woman who sued her doctor after becoming pregnant when her IUD didn't work. I thought those things weren't 100% effective anyway. What do you think about this? Do you think people should be able to sue their doctor if their contraceptive doesn't work?

Check out the story here:

i am sorry, but it seems people believe that doctors are like gods.they are perfect!not true. you know when you walk in a doctors office what risk you are taking. are they not human with the same flaws as everybody else. it is a risk you must be willing to take when you walk in the door.

Shes just wasting her $$$ on a lawyer. The IUD has a failure rate of 0.1% If inserted properly. If she can prove he didnt insert it properly then she may have grounds but other than that she dosent!

no - thats crazy - if you play - you pay - nothing is 100%- she knew that - plus it would be in some paper she signed at the doctors office i would think - that should get him off the hook...

If there are grounds for a lawsuit then there should be one.
