Maybe not at the beginning but knowing Nintendo and their fondness of connectivity i'm sure it's something that will be implemented in the future.

Im not really sure but ill tell you one thing, if you buy many wiis you can sell them on ebay and make thousands! It is a very good way to make some money.

the ds will eventually wirelessly hook up with the wii probalt on animal crossing when that relases
