Hardware is the physical devices in your computer -- disk drives, modems, network cards, etc.

Firmware is actually software that resides within those hardware devices, usually low level code that controls the device. It is sometimes contained in unalterable memory (ROM), but may also be in updateable memory (PROM), so that it can be updated at a later time in what are called "firmware updates".

Hardware is the physical equipment - Firmware is the software installed in the device itself that makes the device work.

An example would be that a driver for your operating system tells your computer how to communicate with the device it is designed for. Firmware is a "driver" for the hardware itself, to tell it how to use the parts it has inside of it.

Hardware is the mechanical and electronic parts making up a machine.

Firmware is both, the hardware, and the software that is embedded in the various parts, so when power is applied, they can start the machine up and into some tests, and then, full operation, ready for control from a full program, or an interactive control system.

firmware is what runs the hard code on the hardware.

IE: Hardware = the circuit board.
Firmware is normally some code inside a chip on the hardware that helps run the hardware.

However this also does come in the form of code in drivers to run the hardware.

Firmare = software basically

great question madhavi:) you be attentive to although those words sound synonimous yet nevertheless there lies a "deep" distinction !! Happiness could nicely be got here across of issues which would possibly no longer additionally be valuable to our non secular or psychological ingredient like we could flow out & have our well known dish & clothing etc., we'd experience happy. yet delight comes from one in all those achievent, if we get reliable grades in learn we'd get an excellent feeling that announces "no longer undemanding word paid off" now thats greater valuable isn't it ;p[ Now peace.... i think of it relies upon on what attitude we undertake towads the "activities" we do for "happiness" or the two "delight", peace honestly exist in our self, it only must be got here across by using us. a man or woman of lack of understanding could experience peace jointly as a no longer undemanding worker could desire to be strresed. that is even oposite to that . So peace desires to got here across by using us.
