It has enough coolant but the vent is not working all the time, is there something I can do to repair it, or definetely I have to take it to the mechanic?

it's probably the thermostat it controls when the cooled coolant enters the motor usually very easy to install on your own. just go to pep boys or anywhere like that and ask for one.

It sounds like it could be your thermostat going bad or possibly a water pump problem. I would take it to a mechanic and have it checked out

you could have a bad water pump. or a radiator electric cooling fan for starters. better to take to a mechanic than get stuck on the freeway

It sounds like your thermostat is sticking, you should take to a mechanic if you do not know how to remove and replace
