Wii will win the console wars. Why? Because they focus on gameplay and working with developers to make sure all of their technology can be used. What is the point of all of the innovation if it is useless? The Wii appeals to children, teenagers, and adults. Teens love playing with their friends, the free online play is going to open up worlds for them. Children friendly games are found in abundance with Nintendo, parents will be glad to add this system to their home. For those games that aren't, all systems have the parental controls, but what good will the other systems do if all of their games are blocked? Adults will be able to access all of their old favorite games for a few bucks online. One big addition: The controller, it looks fun and like it will be simple to use, no problems pressing the correct buttons all the time. Also, bring all of your gamecube games, backwards compatability is a plus.

PS3 is doomed. Why? Because they focused way too much on new technology that people have not had the time to perfect. Developers are going to struggle to make use of the new blue ray disc player. The system has serious bottlenecks, imagine trying to squeeze and orange through a coke bottle. The orange is quite tasty, but, you'll never get to taste its greatness because it is being held back. The PS3 is going to be held to Xbox 360 standards, image quality, & speed because the Cell processor can't be used to its full capacity because there isn't enough memory in the system. Also, they recently announced that 200 - 300 Playstation titles will not be compatible with the blu-ray disc, so as far as backward compatability, its possible with a few games at the moment right?

Xbox 360 is going to be a close second to the Wii. Why? The 360 is not being marketed as a system for everyone. The Wii is being marketed as so simple to use, and nintendo has always been a safe haven for parents to let their children loose with. The 360 is going to come out with impressive graphics, not to mention they have the innovation of the microsoft team, which means they are prepared for upgrades to the system, unlike sony. Since they know the dynamics of computers and processing better, then of course they will overshadow Sony with more impressive graphics that will draw a larger market than the PS3. People will soon be asking, why doesn't the PS3 look better than the Xbox 360 on a certain game? Simple answer is, the PS3 is all bark and no bite when it comes to the specs. You can also play your old Xbox games in this system.

The Big Difference: PRICE!!!

PS3 - Paying way too much for a system that can't use its specs.
Xbox 360 - Good price for the technology.
Wii - Great price for the innovation and fun of the system.

Just think how many games you could buy for the Wii and the console itself, controls, and memory card that would not even add up to the PS3 console itself.

Sony will probably "Win the war"

Microsoft has been selling horribly in Japan and the PS3 is sold out till January. That's not a guarantee, just a guess.

But don't count Nintendo out. They aren't fixing to "win" the console war. Think of them as Switzerland, neutral, profitable, and completly unharmed (and they have a really cool, verstitle, portable device)

It all depends on how much people wanna spend on consoles. Most people can't just throw $600 at a console and another 50-150 for games when you can get a WII for $250 with just as fun games.
