I've just turned my dirt and i want to plant grass but i don't know what the next step should be.

You need to get seed and fertlizer for seed starting. You also need to smooth the ground over because if you do not your yard will be lumpy.

You could put a thin layer of top soil then a layer of seed the some top soil very light, then the seed starting fertlizer. than hay to keep the ground moist and the birds away, The grass grows better with the hay over top

Get a container. Pickup all the dew worms & leeches. When you've got enough to go fishing take the rest of the day off, relax 'cause by tomorrow your going to have a lot of brilliant answers to go through. Now that's a best answer 4 sure.

Did you put soil amendment in? If so, rake the soil so there are no big clods & plant your grass. Keep it well watered for the first month. If you are bothered by cats "dumping" in the soil - put cayenne pepper around. It works & is not harmful to pets or plants.

you don't know what dirt and fertilizer is, you don't know what to do after you till,, sounds like you need to hire someone or go to a library or "google" articles on basic gardening,, and lawn care,,, you would learn much more and quicker!!

Rake out all the big stones & break up the lumps, then level it.
