how long does it take to recover power/internet from a tornado?

my girlfriend was in alabama when the tornado hit and I'm wondering how long it will be until they recover power so i can make sure if shes ok or not.

it depends on the conditions, if it is not that bad it could take a couple days, if it is really bad, it could take a couple weeks

WELL THIS DEPENDS ON HOW BAD THE DAMAGE WAS. IF THE POWER OUTAGE IS WIDE SPREAD IT COULD TAKE DAYS OR WEEKS.

COULD YOU TRY TO CALL HER ON A CELL PHONE OR CALL ONE OF HER FRIENDS OR FAMILY TO SEE IF THEY MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP???
