When you saw the statue of Saddam Hussien fall 3 years ago what were you expecting 3 years later?

Three years later, considering the US track record in Afghanistan, Vietnam, Somalia and Panama, not much.

- I (way to optimistacly) hoped that:
-New rebuilt goverment
-A good economy
-Better life for the people
-trade increase
-rebirth and growth

What I expected:
-War
-increase in Terrorism
-increase in war between warring factions
-US soliders presence
-return of a "good govt" that turned into another facist dictatorship
-large deployment of US troops

What Actually Happened:
-Civil War
-Growth in Insurgency
-Growth in Terrorism
-Large amounts of killings against Iraqis and Americans alike
-New puppet goverment
-CHAOS

Not much good huh.
So remind me why are we sending good honest to god men and women to Iraq to expand and die in this mess.

Somebody anwser that cause Bush obviosuly cannot.

well...I tell ya..
A lot more than what i'm seeing today. I figure, three years later, something worth fighting for...........I just don't get it. How can so much evil live in one place?
I feel sorry for the children the elderly that live there and the Innocent ones that have been through such horror. Only thing we can do - is keep doing our best to help.........whatever that is.

Civil War and if we get the hell outta there that's exactly what will happens and I say we let them do it since that seems to be the way of the world. I'm all for letting them fight it out for themselves.
