well i have the 20th anniversary edition scarface dvd (2 disc).
On disc 2 the bonus material dvd, there is a featurette "def jam present: origins of a hip hop classic"

in that featurette, after about 1min42sec an instrumental of a song comes on ( after the main title is shown) it is in the background. i was wandering what that song was.

I do not have the featurette handy but here is what I would do:

In the end credits for the featurette there will be a list of licensed songs that were used. If there is no list then the song is an original composed for the movie and there will either be a "composer" or "engineer" credit.

Of course, if there are several songs listed in the credits, then you will have to try and find them and eliminate them one by one.

It is important to look at the credits for the featurette and not the movie.

On that note, I just checked imdb to see if I could find anything for you and it says that the original music was composed by "Whiteboy" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0395694/fullcredits) if that helps.

Hope it helped a little.
