I sure did although it was not expected or planned it's happening right now as i write! i have a 3 1/2 yr old daughter and a son that has only just very recently turned 1, and now i'm pregnant with my third and only have 12wks to go! Persoanally judging on my first experience I had my son when my daughter was in the MIDST of her "Terrible 2's" and i found that to be quite difficult because they get used to being the "only child" and i found, have a real tough time adapting to the "other child". But speaking from now i would have to say that it is easier to fall pregnant with ur kids closer together in age than even 2-3yrs apart, they learn to grow together and u will find that they will b on the same wave length. As people like to say though "Each to their own"!
There is one fear i have in the back of my mind though and that's how will my 1yr old son go! i'm afraid he's going to walk around the house with this baby like a rag doll shoved under his arm... Guess we will have to wait and see for that 1!
Goodluck in whatever happens but remember parenting is always going to be a litlle difficult but thats why we call it "The Joys of Parenting".

I did! When my daughter was 4 months old, my husband and I had a sessions in the middle of the night that was completely unexpected, so I wasn't prepared. I was not on birth control because I was nursing full time. My mother warned me of some of the things to look for in case I became pregnant while nursing, and sure enough about two days later my daughter did exactly what my mother had warned me about and she would not accept the breast anymore. I knew then and there that I was pregnant again. My son was born 9 months later. My son and daughter are 13 months apart.

Obviously, I didn't because I'm a guy but my mom had 6 kids. The middle 4 were all born within 2 years and 4 months of each other... My oldest sister is 2 years and 4 months older than me (Born April 28). My second oldest brother is 1 1/2 years older than me (Born May 31) and my twin was born 25 minutes older than me (Born September 8).... And this was before there was disposable diapers! This is the reason why my mom is crazy now!
BTW, there is a 17 year spread from the oldest to youngest.... My oldest brother is 7 years older than me and my youngest sister is 10 years younger than me.

12 months exactly. LOL On my older daughter's first birthday we decided to stop birth control methods and work on having another baby. I was thinking it might take awhile for me to get pregnant. Nope.... the second child was conceived on her sister's first birthday! :o)
Nursing is a natural form of birth control, but like all other methods, it is not 100% effective and should not be depended on.
If your question is really about nursing during pregnancy, it is fine. It wasn't until closer to the birth time that my milk turned back to colostrum. My daughter didn't like the taste and pretty much weaned herself at that point.
Best Wishes,
Sue

My best friend concieved her 2nd son while soley nuresing her 1st son (he was only 3 months at the time.) And she concieved again while nursing her 2nd son (he was 5 months) The thing w/ the method if you choose to call it one is that if your baby even misses or delays a feeding by 1 hour a feeding it can throw it all off

Yes I did, i am. My daughter was 8 months old, and breastfeeding when I got pregnant. We wanted another one and just let nature take its course. She is 16 months now and will be 20 months when baby is born.
And yes, breastfeeding as a natural birth control is totally an old wives tale.

Yes, do not rely on nursing as a contraceptive. It's an old wives tale that you can't get pregnant while you are nursing.
