well if you are going to church or with The family for family dinner you will need something classic. Black pants with black socks slip on shoes (black) a dress shirt and Tie if needed. Then a sweater over the shirt, The sweater should have some design or color to make the outfit stand out.
Brown pants with beige shirt, vest and brown socks and shoes.
We all go to Christmas eve church, so Christmas morning we are in causal jeans ( nice new ) some special top, like a sweater or shirt. Iast year I wore a cashmere orange sherbet sweater and brown Frye slip on boots,
so if you can be casual, Jeans, or kakti pants, with a nice sweater with kakiti pants I would go with a warm color and brown boots. Jeans with a nice sweater with blues or yellow black shoes or boots with black socks
Socks should match the shoes. The outfit should be something that you will fill comfortable with all day.

Depends on the party or place you plan on attending.
The holidays are filled with different types of parties...concerts, holiday get togethers. If unsure, it's best to go in black, nice dress pants, (black socks please....) and maybe white shirt under a sweater...However.........it depends on where you live. cant have you wearing a sweater in Florida now can we?...so it really begs to have more information for what event and place you live. Above all.........these things.........For God sakes...Smell like a million bucks baby...need to not only look good but also smell great and not over powering either. Women love it when a man wears a nice Cologne (so many man forget - how to drive a women crazy...) It's easy...polite, manners...and smell...that's all...you'll have them eating out of your hands.

At Walmart- They have a great "george" brand packaged shirt-Red buttondown with Stripped Tie, very nice! Some black jeans and black boots would suit you well.

it all depends on where you live. i'm all for wearing some of things you get for christmas, be it a sweater or socks.
