You can "rip" songs from any CD's you have with the Windows Media Player already in your computer. You can save songs from any cassettes with the Musicmatch Jukebox Plus program ($15. I think) from www.musicmatchjukebox.com The basic MusicMatch Jukebox player is a free download, but you need the "Plus" version to record songs from cassettes. There are many web sites to download free mp3 files, but I have found better quality by paying $10./month for 60 downloads from www.emusic.com They guarantee their songs are virus free and will play on all mp3 players. They offer 25 free downloads to try their service.

look at old soundtracks you like, that's the music that i end up listening to

or on iTUNES, you can select your genre and click top songs...that might have some good stuff.
