Briefly describe what you believe is a major domestic problem confronting the United States?

All those Canadians trying to sneak into the country...we should build a fence up there!

Seriously though, I think that health care is a huge problem that we need to address now. With the obesity, and rising cost in medical treatments many companies and individuals won't be able to have affordable healthcare. Personally I don't want to be shelling out $300 a month just in case I might need medical treatment.

Now the issue is the solution...I would like to see caps put on medical treatment, and incentives for people to live active and healthy lifestyles...maybe even get a tax break with a clean bill of health.

Socially the USA has a project with GLBT (gay, lesbian,bisexual, trans-sexual) rights. people of those orientations are denied the very straightforward human suited to marry. And are heavily discriminated against in the protection stress, place of work, and in social settings. they're perplexed and slandered.All of this even with being an rather non violent community.

I'd say materialism, greed, ignorance about other countries/beliefs/rituals/sexual orientation/etc. (because many people choose not to educate themselves and just go with what the media and government tell us) and intolerance in general...
