Have you noticed Nicole Richie's new hairstyle? She recently dyed it dark brown from blonde, and now it looks longer. I have naturally dark hair, but when I go to the salon tomorrow, I'm not sure how to ask my stylist (in a hairstylists terms) for that type of cut. Could you look at the photo in the link provided and tell me the "haircutter's term" (describe the cut) of what I want it to look like, as I am unable to bring in this specific photo to her, for her to see. Thanks...By the way, if you think this style is unsuitable for me, then please let me know....I have a round face shape and very round features, and also a forehead that I would like to hide with bangs.

It looks like long layers to me. She has it parted on the side and the fringe looks about nose length.. her haircut is is long layers and most likely extensions since I was pretty sure shes been sporting a collar bone length look for awhile now. Because you have a round face I would suggest some face framing in the front ala jennifer anistons usual look along with some slithering which is a method that connects the face frame so the front of the hair can be breast length yet angled properly. Also the face framing and side part is very slimming to a round face.. makes it edgier.. probably want to start your face framing part about lip length. As for long layers.. layers are there to create swing and remove weight so if you have thin hair you do not want layers but if you have thick hair.. long layers also called a 180 degree cut is a good option to shape the hair. Makes it look more polished. I hope you love it.

Just bring the stylist a picture or two and tell her you want that style on your hair. A picture is a lot better than you describing the hairstyle. The stylist and you might have two whole different ideas. So a picture is the best way to go.

My hairstylist is one in all my good buddy's mothers. She's been doing it for roughly 30 years i've got faith? i like her by way of fact she seems to renowned what she's doing, it particularly is at her homestead so it particularly is much less noisy and there is no one else there so it makes me extra snug, we communicate for a protracted time that's something I often do no longer do to people in hair salons, and she or he's additionally low-priced as nicely! $40 for an entire head dyed and decrease! that's often $one hundred at my old hairstylist. She's additionally very friendly and is so candy. i will in reality consult together with her approximately something rather. My old hair stylist grew to become into form of quiet so at cases it grew to become into awkward. you in simple terms could bond with your customer! i'm hoping that helps you!
