I took a home pregnancy test on the day i was supposed to have my period. it said negative. But its been 3 days since then. Should i take another one or am i just late? Can sexual activity cause you to be late?

probably just late, if u dont have it in a few days i would check it again

I would take another hun maybe the HCG level is not high enough and it will not show for you. I do NOT think that sexual activity will cause lateness at least I have NEVER heard of it before.

sexual activity can cause you to be 9 months late.
yes you should probably retake the test if you are not sure, because sometimes after conception the hormones are not strong enough to be detected by the test. I would wait a few days to a week and retake it. If it still shows negative and you have signs, then goto a doctor.

def. check it again. sometimes the pregnancy hormone takes a little bit to show up in your urine.
are you on birth control? this could alter your periods.
stress levels, also affect this. so could extreme dieting. you could just be late
