I am unaware that conservative republicans didn`t support Islam.
Republicans don`t support the murder of innocent child in the name of a Religion or for any reason.
Your confusion probably comes from the Left propaganda that Conservative Republicans are either evil rich people or evil Christians. Neither case is true.
Conservative Republicans do recognize that if someone says they are going to kill you next, as they kill someone else, then one should believe them and try to stop them. That is why Conservatives support the war against radical Fascist Islam.
Amazingly it is not the Christians who are marked for instant death it is the Feminists, Intellectuals, and Gays who would suffer instant death. Yet it is the Conservatives and Christians who provide their sons and daughters, the brightest and best in America, to protect those Feminist, Intellectuals, and Gays from the Islamic Fascist.
