Maine is correct as mentioned earlier.....although Florida has a longer coastline most of it is in the Gulf of Mexico...then again by some definition the Gulf of Mexico is part of the Atlantic Ocean.

The state with the longest coastline on the atlantic would be either Florida or North Carolina. You need to do some more research to find that out.
I cant do all your homework.
Because part of Florida is meditarian sea and the other is atalatic. I am not sure which is the list with the miles of coastline for each location and the oceans.

It's Maine. Next comes Florida because part of it is in the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. You should look at the tidal shoreline which shows Maine with 3,478.
