That's sweet. Maybe you should get her a plaque or a jewellery box with "World's Greatest Mother" engraved on it. I'm sure she will appreciate that a lot.

She would love to spend time with you...so perhaps you could dress up and take her to lunch or dinner....and flowers....mom's never get tired of fresh flowers from her child.....that should be about $100...if you have more money left....perfume...and at 70...Chanel #5 is great...in case you don't have time for the lunch/dinner.
Most of all she needs to know that you appreciate her and all of her sacrifices...and your love is eternal!

If you live near her, take care of some things around the house she may not be capable of doing. Get her a gift card to her favorite store; donation to her favorite charity. The list could go on, I hope we have helped you brainstorm.

These things are great! I gave my mother 5 packs of these for her 68th birthday and now every year I give her more as stocking stuffers. She can't get enough of these things and uses them to put pictures of her kids and grandkids on the fridge door. Get here the square-peg or round-peg for they are easier for older people to grasp. They are very very strong and replace those wimpy free ones that you get in the mail. Hope this helps.

Go out together for a day out: lunch, something she likes to do (museum? movie?), a really yummy dessert. TIME spent with your mom is probably what she can't get enough of!
