What do you think of these names?

Question

I'm pregnant with quads- 2 boys and 2 girls, and I don't want to give them conventional names, but I also don't want them to be "too out there" so I was wondering what you think of these:

Girls-
Greenlee
Lorelai

Boys-
Lincoln
Desmond

The boys names are a no go for me personally. Lincoln is too old, Desmond i dont know, just doesn't click.

The Girls names Lorelai is pretty but Greenlee would have to grow on me if I knew you.

However, I do appreciate your wanting to be different with your childrens names. I did the same with my 4 kids ( not all at once tho).

if you are stuck on Lorelai you could do the other Lani (pronounced Loni) seems kinda hawiian or something. The boys you seem to like L names so , how about Landon for one of the boys.

or just play with a few names and make your own names. That is what I did for my last daughter. We were going to name her Taylur but I liked Aubry, Hubby and I both liked Bryannah So yea I stuck them together and her name is Aubryannah Taylur -Jaynae' the jaynae is after his momma.

I think Lorelai (prounouced Laura - lie?) is fine. Greenlee is not my favorite.....I can actually say I don't like it at all. Not very feminine. Lincoln is okay, but Desmond, I don't like.

But they are your babies - so it is up to you. You kids will always be unique being quads. They will also be unique people. You want to decide how often you want to have to spell names for people. I can just see you at story hour with 4 2 yr olds having to spell Lorelai, and Greenlee (lee not leigh....). I have a Sarah and it is hard enuf with an h or not! :) Good luck with your pregnancy. I cannot imagine.!

Lorelia - beautiful...very lyrical

Lincoln - regal, Ab would be proud

Can't say Greenlee or Desmond can match up to Lorelia or Lincoln. Why not keep those two - it is neat that they both begin with L. Maybe the next two can have the same letter. Like Arwen and Andrew? You have a great start!

lorelai is good Desmond is good greenlee not the best kids would find some way to pick on your baby girl when she gets older and Lincoln is also another one the boy would get made fun of my name is really weird its Harley i would always get made fun of it you don't want your kids to go through that.I'm 14 now and i have learned that i should not care what the others think. maybe your kids will do the same so you could keep all the names if you want. congratulations.

I like all of them except lorelai it looks a lil country and sounds country...Greenlee is that girls name from All of my Children..I like desmond as a name a lot, very distinct! Lincoln is okay i would probably make that a middle name, and Lorelai sounds like a middle name also...but if u like them then go with it! I just thought about this Lincon Porter, and Desmond Carter..those names go well as a middle names.

I like Lorelai for a girl it sounds like a beautiful flower. And Greenlee very creative. Lincoln is almost too much of a last name but Desmond sounds strong and kind of flows out of your mouth.

Is Greenlee from All my Children? I like it but dont know if I would care for that name myself. I once knew a guy named Lincoln and I thought it was neat. Desmond is becoming very popular. Lorelai I dont care for.

I love the name Wyatt, Weston, Zander, and Waylon. For girls Ashlynn, and Jaylin. Good luck and remember its your choice.

Girls:

Greenlee- more like a last name and a word than a name. How about Avery, Ivy,Ivory, Gabriella, or Alora?

Lorelai- gorgeous name.

Boys:

Lincoln- too much like Abe Lincoln and reminds me of the car. It also sounds like an old guys name. How about Austin?

Desmond- African american name. Unless you're into that?
