I know of many Indian men who are ideal husbands - loving and committed. From where did you get your concept? From a few published items? In any race or culture, there will always be two sides of the coin. No race has the monopoly of good and bad. In any part of the world, both of these occur. Sometimes, I read some questions too asking why women in America divorce, and I had to comment that, that was not true because my relatives are all STILL happily married up to this time. More than thirty long years of married life, and that is in America. It is not good to stereotype people.

Indian men 95% do not treat woman badly. A woman is considered as house maker and maintainer which is a cumbersome job. It is bounden duty of the male to go out earn and bring the money for running the house. It is only when a man would not work and ask his wife to do the work for him the problem comes.

On the contrary I want to know that though the western men treat their woman quite nicely yet they leave him. It is not the matter of staying or leaving it is the reasons behind it and the understanding. For example western woman have babies from a person and leave to anoother for further fun however indian woman do not leave their husbands even deprived of fun & babies. Leaving a place is not the remedy or solution to the problem it is the adjustments of life which makes a person more matured and gradually comfortable.

Firstly, you are misinformed that Indian men TREAT THEIR WOMEN BAD. Secondly, I dont think that the women will stay with them if they are ill treated.

you are generalizing a culture & are being very ignorant. you don't understand the way a different culture works. some Indian men may treat their wives poorly, but so do some white, black, hispanic, asian, etc....
yeah, it would be like saying, why are all black people on wellfare? of course that isn't true. you can't judge a whole group of people based upon a few bad examples.

What do u have against Indians?....women dont leave them because they dont want to give a bad name to their husbands,...they CARE!!....if they didnt then they would've left them in such a paralyzed position that they woldnt be able to have ne more "fun" as they call it
