Honestly, what you can expect is a move towards more government, more and higher taxes, reductions in defense spending and increases in the "gimme something for nothing" social programs.
Now, the GOOD side of this is that it has to get past the president. The Dems do not have enough of a majority to override a presidential veto, so the truth is that they won't be able to accomplish very much at all. They'd do best to focus on '08, but if things go the way that they appear and they push Hillary Clinton to the forefront for the presidential nomination in '08, chances are, they will lose their @$$es...and he Republicans will retain the White House, and regain both houses of Congress.

first they raise taxes and higher minimum wage and destroy small business and kill americas economy. the very economy GEORGE W BUSH brought up out of a recession that CLINTON" WORST PRESIDENT EVER" got us into.. leave iraq then have the terrorists attack us and they wont care... then let alll the dirty mexicans cross the border never have to pay taxes and then the real american people get scrwed out of jobs and the unemployement rate goes up then have natioanl health care then you can sjut say goodbye to the economy and move to canada until a republicans rule again..
