The doors usually have a little button switch on the frame. Usually the beeping only has to do with the drivers door and maybe the front passenger door. Close all the doors and then open one by one and push the button in. Did the light go off? Then close that door and try the next. My guess is that one of the door switches is not functioning and not turning off the light.
When there is a drain on the battery, or if the battery is weak, the windows will open and shut slower than usual. On my car, this happens when I open or close 2 windows at once. When my wife's car battery was real low one time, one of the windows couldn't even go up all the way. How old is the battery? If it's over 4 years old, you shold replace it.

Just because the reminder chime stops, when the door is shut, only means the DRIVER'S door ajar switch, or circuit is good. You have THREE other doors with ajar switches as well. They are known to stick. The ajar switches on these particular vehicles are located on the bottom of the latches themselves. You could try spraying/soaking the door latches with penetrating fluid, and open/close the doors multiple times, to see if it frees up the stuck switch. Failing that, one of the ajar switch circuits is grounding out somewhere. Have you verified the your headlamp switch isn't set to the "interior light ON" position? As far as your front windows are concerned, it sounds like your window motors are wearing down. Hope this helps.

sounds like you got a major electrical problem. first check the position of the dome light switch it could be in the wrong position and the light stays on all time. now for the windows you could get into the dorr panel and check the amount of poewr you are getting to the window motors. if you are not getting 12v then you should checkyour battert and alternator. but just between you and i , go trade it off because those cars like you have cost way too much to maintain i have an 01 cadillac and i'm getting ready tio get rid of it and get a chevrolett

Did you check to see if the switch is on. Check the light by turning the knob for the lights. It should be located on the left hand side of the steering wheel.

the light is grounding out somewhere. it could be a door switch sticking, a bad interior light switch,or a wire grounding out the light.
windows could be a bad connection, lazy motor, or just lack of lubrication

try turning the knob all the way down to make sure you don't have it turn on because I use to do that in my van from time to time.
