actions have consequences. So, yes, if that is the penalty, so be it.

That's definately a tough decision. To be honest with you I wouldn't know the answer to your question. If my child were declared insane or something then I would definately expect him/her to be taken to some kind of mental hospital to be treated. Though if the child was just a cold-blooded killer I would sadly have to let the justice system take its course and punish him/her with whatever they felt was right. If it's the death penalty then there's nothing I could do about it. I still wouldn't think of myself as for or against the death penalty. My opinion probably wouldn't change.

By child would you mean below the age of consent? Well children are exempted from the death penalty. I support the death penalty for those will willing take lives for their own self interests or perverted enjoyment.

YOU are a real thinker---it's true people say alot of things until it happens to them or someone they love. There is no way to know what one would do--I have a friend whose daughter was murdered at 22-and it was a violent -knife-rape death of a beautiful young woman by a guy who broke in her apartment who was on parole for rape--her parent are against the death penalty--and they told the judge this--life in jail they wanted with no parole--these were people who were true to their conviction-even when they were touched by a murder.
NO ONE wants their child to die NO ONE

it's agonizingly painful enough to see my future child behind the prison bars, what more with the death penalty. but then again, im not a pro-death penalty person. sure, my first reaction when i see a brutal murder is to wish the murderer's death, but i still believe in God's judgement.

If my child was killed and they would be alive if someone were killed, then I would be for the death penalty. That would be the only way.

well it depends on the age of the child.... i mean if hes little and does it on purpose but actulally doesnt know its bad then i would kill my child... i would go to court or something.... if my child grew up to kill then i dont know if i would love them... it may sound wac but if they murdered for money and for trerroist reasons then i would love them at all i mean havent the thought of being attacked from my own child is scary..... but people who do it and know is bad should be killed, well not really unless they are like the crazy 9-11 dude....wel he should die.... .but other people should just be put to prision.....its either that or hell....both are pretty bad....
