I personally like her music but there seems to be strong prejudice against her as person and her music even though she is a very talented singer!! Genuinley interested as to what makes people despise her music so much-even more than most artists??

i understand what you propose - Celine Dion is a competent singer, i'm not a fan both, yet i do not comprehend what she's performed incorrect. specifically, hating celebrities comes from boredom or jealousy - those with not some thing better to do than scrutinize others, who only want some privateness for once. I propose that you really insult someone once you've met them and were given to understand them... it fairly is the really way you get to understand what they are like. Cline dion is a great vocalist and artist that can sing a variety of songs in different ranges and hits the mark with each song she sing. The REAL reason people dont like celion dion is because she has her own mind and her own opinions and stick to them regardless of what everyone thinks of her. It has nothing to do with her talent, most people dont like anyone that dont change their point of view for the sake of everyone one else's opinions smh She's a great singer AND so is mariah carey.

She is everything that is bad in popular music. There are many people who love her, but for every one of them I could find you ten that hate her! She makes anti-music! I cannot think of a single redeeming feature about her or her music. She can sing lots of notes and has sold a lot of records, but most people who are really interested in music cannot stand her! The fact that she can sing many notes, doesn't mean that she should! The same applies to Mariah Carey and Leona Lewis. You want to see a real great female singer, try Aretha or Dusty or Amy or Kate or Skin etc etc etc.

Some people call her the "soundtrack queen" in reference to her only big hits being from movie soundtracks or sounding like they came from movie soundtracks.
Some dislike her for her political views.

There are no good things here on Earth that everyone will like... Jealousy is one of the reason why people hate Celine. They are jealous because Celine is one of the Best Selling Female Singer of ALL TIME!!! I am a fan of Celine Dion. And I'll always be loyal to her! 'Cause I love her. nothing against her.
but her music is just sooooo boring. To me it feels so full of false sentiment. There is no soul to it at all.
Not to mention the fact that to my ears atleast...there is very little skill in the writing of the songs.
