Can somebody do some math for me? I have the flu and I know how to do the stuff, but my head hurts too much to do it. Please help me!?

5/6 + 7/8 - 11/12

-19 5/6 + 10 9/10

4 7/18 - 3 7/12

-1 4/5 + 4 1/12

WRITE THESE IN FRACTIONS

14.6 + (-3 1/5)

-7.75 - 4.125

5.75 + (-2 1/8)

1.75 - 2.75 - 4 5/8

3.5 - 6.7 + 4.2

3/16 + 1/8 - 1/4

x + 3/8 = -1/4

y - 1/5 = -4/5

z + -2/3 = -1/6

m - 9/10 = 1/5

n - 1 1/3 = -3

p + 7/12 = -1/4

c - 7.2 = -3.7

d - 0.16 = 2.3

1/8 + a = -2 1/4

Normally I'd help out, but I don't think giving you the answers to 20 problems along with a description of how to solve them in the future would be worth the time.

The point of homework is to learn the methods. These all involve adding or subtracting fractions and decimals. It's an important concept to learn.

The main thing is to get your fractions with a common denominator, then it should be straightforward from there.

In the future, you may want to ask for the answer and method for a couple problems you have tried, and have someone check your work... but 20 questions for 10 pts (max) is too much work for anyone.

I am doing the first one to show you the method. You do the rest. It is the only way to learn.

5/6 + 7/8 -11/12=
20/24 + 21/24 + 22/24 =
63/ 24 = 2 15/24 = 2 5/8

I hope you get over your flue quickly
