Assuming your daughter is an infant... I'd visit the doc. My first guess would be a yeast infection (yes, babies get 'em too). Washing with soaps will probably just make it worse (just like douches and stuff CAUSE yeast infections in women, deodorants and soaps can cause probs in babies too). The doc can give you a cream to use to make it better. Frequent diaper changes and keeping clean (with water or baby wipes) is the best way to keep it at bay... but some babies just seem to get a lot of them anyways. They generally stop once they're out of diapers.

she may have a yeast infection which can cause the stinky smell and itching, take her to the doctor so they can take tests and give some antibiotics. It perfectly normal to girls and women to get this, eating more dairy products can help but dont use too much soap and stuff down there as it can aggravate it and make it worse...for adults we can get over the counter stuff but for young children its better to be safe and go to the doctor.xx

You should not be washing the vaginal area with any kind of soap. The vaginal area is self cleaning so top using the soaps. Since she has a specific odor in her vaginal area then you need to take her to the doc to get this checked out. One thing to remember is that the vagina is a self cleaning orifice and soap or other things should not be used in that area. Do not use feminine hygiene sprays nor powders and do not douche without a doctors OK.

You didn't say how old she is. I assume she is a small child and you are her mom.
You should talk to her doctor. She could have an infection of some sort, which could cause serious health problems if not treated promptly.

drs appt quick. don't keep trying different soaps. she may be allergic or they irritate her skin. (but she's too young to have a smell just yet unless she's sexually active. hate to put that out there-sorry). but her dr should get to the bottom of that for you. good luck.

It sounds like she has a yeast infection. How old is she? I would take her to the doctor as soon as possible.
