When you ask a question and someone tells you in their answer how great of a question it was or when they tell you that their answer is the best. I don't like either one and would never give either a best answer.

I just want to say first that this was a really great question, and very insightful as well. Second i must say that my answer is going to be the best. So ill take my 10 points now

When I ask questions and someone is rude with their response, I give them a thumbs down and do not pick them for best answer.

Its just the nature of the beast... This questions and answers thing will bring out the best and the worst of them.

They are both mildly annoying, however saying "what a great question" is slightly more so because the person is trying to kiss up to you, whether they realize it or not.
