I think this is one of the greatest pieces of cinema ever. The characters waking up from the Tangent Universe, while the song "Mad World" is playing brings chills down my spine. It's so sad and powerful.

I absolutely LOVE that movie!!! I've seen it SOO many times, and yet I cry during that part every single time. I cant even listen to that song anymore without thinking about Donnie Darko and getting sad.
Donnie Darko is absolutely the BEST move ever.. it has everything in it! From religion to time travel.. its great!
