15 of the 19 9/11 terrorists were Saudi as is Osama bin Laden, a further 2 were from the United Arab Emirates. al-Queda was based in Afganistan and aided and abetted by the Taliban. The Taliban were/are in turn supported and funded by forces within Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Currently, bin Laden is hiding in Pakistan/Afghanistan. When the Taliban regime was in power only 3 countries in the world recognised it's legitimacy- Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Yet these 3 countries are all considered allies. Why is this?

well it's comforting to see that we are not the only ones to realize that! this is evident!

Saddam Hussein, sure a bastard, should have been an asset against Iran, and Saoudis. They are the real enemies. This is indeed including the pakis, Talibans main support, the country that is hiding the most likely Bin Laden...

I don't believe a word of the "conspirationist " weirdos stuff, but sincerely I don't understand NOTHING to the current policy since the invasion of Afghanistan, which by the way, was perfect and logical.

But since??????????

The countries are unfortunately considered "allies" because of oil. It's all about money.

Dubya wanted to go after Iraq and his Daddy's enemy all along and thought the American public wouldn't notice that he was going after someone not even involved with 9/11.

The "War on Terror" has not yet even begun; we have yet to go after those truly responsible for what happened on September 11.

this is the largest factor that leads me to believe Bush is midly retarded... we got attacked and now these countries that have HUGE LINKS are our friends...

it's like if FDR said Germany and Japan were our allies in WWII and our real enemy was some two-bit dictatorship somewhere...

how can you win the "war on terror" when those who are leading it are so obviously clueless of who is a terrorist and a terror supporter?

Because attacking Iraq has nothing to do with the supposed "War on Terror".

We are targeting the right countries, just not ALL the right countries. If you want to bomb the 3 countries you mentioned above, you have my blessing.

If they want to fight on terror they have to distroy the Quran first because its seems the terrorist is following this book of devil cover to cover.
