I think most of the time the ones looking negatively at these men are women who want to have children or already do have children so they are already biased in their opinion. But these people also tend to think that women who do not want children are selfish or something along those lines.

Part of it is the fact that in the human race, the drive to have children and propogate the species is an instinct. We have a need to have kids, although there are many out there who not only are not suited to having kids, they make lousy parents. It's not their fault, they're just not equipped to deal with the reality of raising kids. While some people who have never had kids, and never thought of having any, find out to their surprise that they make great parents, and really care about their kids.

If it's any comfort at all, women who don't want/love children are looked down on as inhuman monsters by nearly everyone else too. I've never cared for small kids (10 and up I can deal with) and I've had 'church ladies' actually spit 'you what?!' at me - so I quit telling them. If you look sad and say you 'can't' they'll feel sorry for you.

because if you don't want children, automatically you must just be a user/player/etc. People are ignorant and most will never listen past "I don't want kids". But they are ignorant so who cares what they think

i would still respect a man who doesn't want children. i'd rather see a man say that and take active steps to prevent it, then someone lazyazz bum reproducing every minute and never giving a crap about his kids
