Hm. Some categories don't interest me much, but I can still think of things that might easily pull me in... and sometimes when I answer a question on the general 'answer' page I'm very surprised to see where it's taken me!
On the other hand, there are three categories I have learned that it's just better to stay out of, no matter HOW compelling the question is. These are: religion & spirituality, politics & governement, and cultures & groups. I would love to talk about those subjects, but there are just SO MANY outspoken, closed-minded people in those areas that I just become infuriated whenever I visit.
