I have heard putting it in rice is a competent step (rice absorbs the moisture) depart it for a 3x days no less than to absolutely eliminate any moisture. You were fortunate it replaced into extremely sparkling water, there should not be a lot if any deposits from some thing contained in the water left contained in the phone even as it dries. through turning it on and utilizing it you've gotten killed the phone in spite of the actuality that that probable hood were given better once you began to can charge the phone.... back and back and back. Electronics like that swap off even as a fault takes position subsequently its likely short circuiting someplace. The extra you pump it with power the further it receives damaged. So, depart it to dry, if its not lengthy gone all waiting you've a probability. because some thing of the phone appears operating tremendous it will be ok although if it has an liquid crystal demonstrate demonstrate the chilly cathode back mild tube would have died, they produce severe voltages that is probable what's causing the phone to stop operating even as it arcs through the water. reliable good fortune yet think ofyou've got sealed its destiny

try this first: take the phone apart.... remove the battery and the back. Put the phone on a hand towel (cloth) and put it in your crisper drawer in your fridge. The crisper drawers suck moisture out of things, allowing them to stay fresher longer. This will suck out some of the moisture from your phone.

DO NOT dry the phone with a hair dryer. It will fry the electronic components in the phone and ruin it.

Usually, if the screen dies, it's dead for good. Call your service provider to see if you have insurance.

Good luck!

You can wait until it dries completely, however there is a good possibility that it will not come back on again. Damage to screen that is caused by owner, is not covered under warrenty, so you will most likely have to buy a new one. Try looking on Ebay.

Try to take the faceplate off if you can... there might be water trapped behind the buttons and screen.
