i think eventually we can learn to DEAL with it, but we never forget. but yes, focusing on another issue does help cover up the pain from a previous event...it's just our way of dealing with stuff...but at least we aren't always dwelling on the past...

You never forget the bad parts of life, they are like a bad ulcer just waiting to spring out of the shadows and come back to haunt you. The only thing you can do is try to be happy, and lead a happy life - that way you can avoid upsetting those nasty ulcers....

i try not to focus on another bad points, because then there are no happy points...i go for the happy moments,after i have dealt with the bad
