I look at a house as just a structure. A home is what was built with love, full of caring and joy. A hotel to me is a classier establishment than your no-tell motel...(Hilton compared to Motel 6)

I think all houses are homes, but an apartment can be a home, but it isn't a house. (I suppose a house isn't a home if nobody lives there!)
I think the difference between a motel and a hotel is now largely lost, but originally a motel was a "motor hotel" and was usually located near a highway. I always thought that a motel had the doors to the rooms open to the outside, where a hotel had them open inside. I think that's just me, though, as I have seen cases where this was not true.

A house is a building you can live in, a home is a state of mind that you put in a house that you can feel love in.
A hotel is a place that offers a temporary place to rest when away from home, usually a planned stay or one made by reservation. A motel a place to rest while on a motor trip, like a house but usually used as kinda an emergency shelter.

A house is just a place you live that has no sentimental value to you and you just bought it so you had a house. A Home is a place that you picked for a reason at a given moment in time and has meaning to you.
A hotel is exspensive and requires a lot of workers. A motel is cheap and people usually don't stay in them for more then one night

Home can be an apartment but a house can't.
Hotel, doors on the inside connected to hallway. Motel, doors are on outside lead directly to parking lot (or stairwell).

House=Home
the difference between hotels and motels is that the term 'motel' is short for 'motor hotel'. this came about in the late 40's-early 50's era, when cars began to be popular.

A "house" is a building. A "home" is more of a feeling.
A "motel" is sort of a drive-up hotel. You park right outside your room. A "hotel" is more luxurious--meant for longer stays.
