Unfortunately, the Americans have the power to impose their way of life on the rest of the world, which is rather unpleasant if you are at the receiving end. The Europeans resent the fact that the US is the current bully in the schoolyard. History shows that there is always one dominating power which has the capacity to bully the rest of the world. However, these powers will eventually fall into corruption and decadence. See the history of the Roman empire as an example. When will it be the turn for the US to follow the same fate and which power will become the next bully?

Are you for real,
Bush has threatened all of Europe that if they did not join his meglomaniac conquest for the world ,they would become his enemy automatically,
Also Kissenger said at a meeting in Stockholm for the Bilderberg group(Bushes Bosses)that they were going to reduce the world population by 60%,
the question is how,not by waving flowers ,that is for sure
only a nuclear war can do that
it is not a question of People disliking Americans ,it is that most of the world is dead scared of them ,because they have stated over and over again that they want to lead a world dominating Government
just check how many wars or financing or arming people ,has had American involvement,in the last 100 years.
The USA has become the biggest organiser of death in the world ,and this is just the beginning

1. The US government is arrogant. I'm not saying without reason, but it just is.
2. They are jealous. American culture has come to dominate western civilization. So has American business. So has the American military.
Having an arrogant guy around running things, even if overall he makes things better, is hard to swallow.
Yet, there are definitely times we Americans need to be arrogant, for our own security and the well being of western civilization.

I think it's got to do with cultural differences they see the U.S. as being a dominant bully who gets it's way in everything it wants
they are also mad about the war in Iraq too.
There is going to come a time in the future when they are going
to get a reality check that the war on Terror is a very big deal for everyone you me them the whole planet they better get use
to learning the Koran if we lose.

With so many nuclear weapons to play with. With so many debt accumulated. With such a high standard of living. With an entitlement mentality. With the 2nd greatest armed forces in the world behind China. Who wouldn't be disliking us?
We are the spoiled brats that have daddy protecting us when another kid tries to fight us.

Europe depends on us to support them and take care of them.
They are jealous.
In 20 years, all of Western Europe will be made up of Third World Nations.
Socialism is destroying Europe.
Europe needs us. We don't need them.
