Would an ONION skin cell have the same sturcture as a normal plant cell? what would it have? 10 PNTS???? im writing up a science lab report- how can i write the part for application after examining onion SKIN cells?
What do i write for APPLICATION>!>

An onion skin cell does not have the same structure as a normal plant cell... the skin cells are lacking chrolophyll. This is because the onion bulb grows underground and does not need the sunlight to photosynthesize... the leaves do so.

Hi. I remember the cells to be roughly rectangular and dry. Normal growing cells have more moisture. Just a guess.
